Elena is a policy analyst and communications expert with nearly a decade of experience in Washington, D.C. From 2021-2025, she served as an advisor and speechwriter to the U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken. Before joining the State Department, Elena worked as a researcher and analyst at New America, a nonpartisan think tank. She’s also completed fellowships with the American Council on Germany and the International Strategy Forum. Elena started her career working at Texas Public Radio and in the International Relations Office in the City of San Antonio.
